I found that when using the client to watch，It is always easy to freeze and buffer。
I think this is because the client and server are transferred through Plex.
I found that the client now only supports direct IP connection。
But my public IP will change at any time。
I have a fixed domain name。
It would be great if the client can directly connect to the server through the domain name

You should already be able to specify Custom server access URLs in Settings > [Server Name] > Network.

Is it on the ios client? I didn`t found it, No [Server Name] in [Settings], Just[advanced
] in it. Settings > Advanced > Network > Server Connections > Add Connection, It just supports direct IP connection.

There’s been a separate feature suggestion discussing exactly that. Concluding you can already configure Plex to connect remotely through a custom server access URL – that case should not require another manual connection entry in your client.

If I access the server through a custom URL, does the iOS client also directly connect to my server?

I’m not using this feature myself so I cannot verify it for you. From what I’ve been reading, it should be working that way.
