I dont understend… today half of my movies when i try to play it, shows me Playback Error (The file associated with this iterm is not accessible by the server. Please verify that the film exists and the necessary drive is avaliable). But it normaly play the others movie that placed in the same folder that doesnt played… I already deleted library and added it again, it didnt helped. I refreshed all metadata after that. I checked the plex’s access to the folder on my cloud drive - it read and write… I cant understend what i need to do next… may be somebody know the solution of this problems???
This problem is on my both LG TV… On my laptop everething work fine

Hey, ran into this problem myself. If you play you are on a tv, or console, firestick etc. it will give you that error message “playback error”. If you play it on cpu or laptop you should get the error “This server is not powerful enough to convert video.” what that means is the file type is not good for streaming over a network. To fix with platform use the optimize media function, warning its very slow to encode. Happy Halloween!!

I ran into this problem as well. I fixed it quite effectively by going into the settings and under “Video” changed “Remote Quality” to Original. It was set to something different which meant the server was going to try to transcode on the fly, and since my Nas is a Synology DS 216j, it isn’t powerful enough to do that. :wink: Hope it helps!
