Has anyone experienced this issue? The issue persist only on the Android app, but when I open it on the plex web (on seperate PC), it’s instantly updated.

I haven’t particularly noticed the Continue Watching not updating like that, but I do know the android apps (Shield) have all kinds of update issues.

When someone drills down to the season level and watches an episode, if you exit at the end of the episode and return to the list of episodes, it does not update the “Played” status of the most recently watches episode. You must change menus (to another season) to see the episode marked.

If new content is added to the server while the app is open, the library’s “recently added” menu will not show the new addition. It only seems to populate the home screen once on load. I need to kill the app and reload it to get items to appear.

Hi, I have had this issue on android since they released the updated UI for Plex mobile app. I have this issue on my Pixel 6 pro and Pixel 4a. In some cases I have missed episodes from TV bingewatching because of this.
Before the UI update of the homepage for the Plex mobile app this wasn’t an issue.
Does no one at Plex actually use the app themselves on Android? Because its very easy to see this issue.
