theme music for movies?

The TV theme music rocks, however it would be really cool to have that on movies as well.

Not a feature at this time although it is one that many forum discussions have mentioned. I hope that they introduce this in a later release as its a great little feature in the TV section.

As long as it could be turned off I cannot think of a reason not to have it available. Whenever I have created a TV library one of the first things I do is make sure the noise in turned off. (I think it now defaults to off but I am not sure) The default, like for any other intrusive options, should be off. But for those that want such I do not see any good reason why it should not be able to be enabled.

I agree completely. I set up a TV library, and turned the theme music on because I thought it was cool. After the 3rd time reloading the series page, I turned the theme music off.

Same here, it’s generally the first thing I turn off too. It’s good to have the option though.

I like the feature for TV series, the kids like it. Like when Simpsons is selected they know the theme, its just a small touch. I wouldn’t want it for movies. I’d prefer they integrate rotten tomatoes to give movie viewers a section to read reviews about the movie. Tired of the wife saying is this film any good to me when its a movie I’ve dragged out the what seems ever growing pile of cheap DVD’s, blu rays I obtain from second hand stores, supermarkets etc and then fling into the media server : - )
