I’m trying to watch the show Crossing Over with John Edward and I get the message you see in the title. Is there anything I can do to watch the show or who can I contact from Plex that might be able to answer the question?
Interesting. According to Just Watch (the site that Plex gets this info from) it is available on many services, even including Plex itself. However, clicking the link to watch it gives me a Video Unavailable error message. It works when I click the Roku channel link, so it’s not gone entirely from the internet.
On Watch.plex.tv, it shows up, but shows the message that the OP mentions, This item is not available on any of your selected services. I have most services turned off, but it doesn’t even list the “other services” button where you would normally be able to see what services it is on. Additionally, this entry only lists one season, not the 3 that Just Watch lists.
Additionally, it is impossible to use my Plex Client’s search box to find this item. There appears to be no entry for it there. All-together, this seems to indicate a big issue with the show in whatever service Plex uses to serve and stream this content on their free service.
Interestingly, the link to the show on Just Watch shows an error in generating a forum preview box (that box that replaces the link when you paste one). Here is the link:
Here is the text I get:
Edit: After posting, the link eventually turns into the proper preview box.
You are able to watch the show on Roku?
Click the link in my last post labeled “Just Watch”, which links to the show. Check out the line that mentions it is “free with ads” at the Roku Channel. Click “Watch Now”.
If you got a Roku TV, use that and use their interface as well.
EDIT: Um, seems I may be mistaken. I clicked the first link, John Edward Cross Country (2006), not Crossing Over with John Edward (2000). The latter (that you asked for) is seen on Just Watch here, but it appears to not have any source for that…
I appreciate you looking into it ![]()
Anybody have any idea how I may watch the show?
If “Just Watch” doesn’t list a location, then it’s not likely to be streamed by any major/legal streaming service.
There may be other, less-than-legal options, but that won’t be discussed here nor condoned.
