When i get this i cant accsess plex from my Tv or tablets and even my phone.

Anyone know the answer for this problem?

I just got this message as well. I’m able to play movies but none of our web shows. I was just watching a show and then can’t access any after the error.

I am also getting this message, anyone know how to resolve it? Thanks

Me too, unable to fix it

Our Plex 1.14.1.5488 system was working without error until the evening of 2019.03.14 when we began receiving the

“There was an unexpected error loading the dashboard. Please visit our forums if you continue to experience problems”

error when accessing Plex from the Plex server browser, the Vizio P65 built-in media app, LG TV official Plex app, Roku Ultra Plex app and Android Plex app.

Going to the section displays the appropriate Plex dashboard but none of the TV dashboards are visible.

PLEX SUPPORT: I doubt you bother reading these posts because paying customers aren’t important to you, we expect an answer and corrective solution FROM YOU , not other users.

While the uninstall-wipe-reinstall cycle a previous user noted worked on their system, it is no guarantee that after going through all that effort it will work for the rest of us, and THAT IS NOT A CORRECTIVE SOLUTION.

Version 1.15.2.793 won’t render the dashboard with a Windows client or the Samsung app. Agree with Scott RR that we need an answer to this problem.

Does PLEX any monitor or moderate these posts?

Hi all I fixed my dashboard loading error, I turned off chromes “Ad Block Plus” refreshed the page and the Dashboard is working fine now.

Are the devs actually going top answer here or what? There are free services extremely similar to Plex out there in the wild and without support I am tempted to move.

I am having a similar issue. i got the dashboard to load but now nothing will play. i have all my media on a windows based tv and am trying to stream to my laptop all within the same network in my house but nothing will play.

I had the same error. Noticed that cookies were blocked. Unblocked and the dashboard loaded. You would think Plex would display the reason other an “unexpected error occured”

I had luck with signing out and back in again. This also fixed a different issue a few months back, seems to be a descent catch all.

Logged out, then logged back in. fixed it

I had to add Permission in Firefox under “Cookies and Site Data” to get the Dashboard to load for me.

This worked for me as well! Thank you!

I just updated to 1.16.0.1226 and I’m seeing this problem also on the Web Client (only, so far).

I’ve tried the suggestions above, to no avail.

I just noticed something interesting…

If you have a link (in your history maybe) to a page other than the home - that still appears to work.

It looks to me that it’s only when trying to display a library item that things break.

This worked for me - firefox ABP
Thanks!
