I have a scenario that I hope I can get an explanation for and how to fix it. I have a TV show that previously had a specific image set to the thumbnail for every episode in the season and that showed up in plex fine. I updated each episode so that each one would have a unique thumbnail of a scene from the episode. Once I do that, it generates thumbnails from plex not my local thumbnails from each file anymore. Can someone explain to me why this would work fine when they were all the same but when I try to get unique thumbnails it just decides to let plex generate them?
