I’m trying to run the following command on a library to force thumbnail generation to use anything other than the chapter mark as the place to take the thumb from - as most are video compliations that have black fade out / fade in at the chapter mark.
./Plex\ Media\ Scanner --generate --force --section 8 --chapter-thumbs-only --thumbOffset 5
Whilst this command does generate the thumbnails for me - the thumbOffset parameter always seems to be ignore and regardless of the value I use the same image is used (mostly black but where there is no black intro - I get an image - so I know the thumbnails are being generated).
Can anyone help?
