My setting for “Generate video chapter thumbnails” is turned off for this library (Movies) and in the general “Library” setting, yet it’s still generating them. I tried with both the official image and linuxserver.io
Your screenshots don’t show whether the generation of chapter thumbs is activated or not.

They are technically a bunch of still images, yes.
But that doesn’t have to do anything with my response.
It does have something to do with your reply for me, because my “Generate chapter thumbnails” is a scheduled task. Which is what I want, but when Plex say “Generating VIDEO chapter thumbnails”, I thought it was linked to the “Generate video preview thumbnails”. Just confusion caused by the different ways the tasks are named…
