Tidal Playlist bug? Forwarding from Tidal Support

This morning I sent the following email to Tidal Support:

I have a linked account via Plex (plex login is (deleted)). When attempting to add tracks to any of my playlists I get the error “Something went wrong. Make sure the destination is available and try again.”. I am able to CREATE a new playlist and add a single track, but cannot add additional tracks to that either.

Tidal support asked that I log out of Tidal on all devices, reboot and retry: NO CHANGE
They then asked if I could confirm whether the problem is being experienced on Plex only: YES. I am able to add tracks to playlists via the tidal app. From my testing I learned that my Tidal playlist (Chris Mellow) has 195 tracks when accessing via plex. The same playlist from non-plex, tidal apps reports 215 titles/tracks.

They then told me that it’s a plex server/account issue and to take it up with them.

I had this same problem the other day. It was driving my wife crazy. I finally had her create a playlist on the Plex server, with Tidal tracks in it. That worked for her needs. But it would be nice if someone from Plex could take a look at this.

Thanks for raising this - I can see the same problem at our end. As you note, adding to a PMS is a crude workaround for now. We’ll work out what’s broken and get it fixed.

Thanks again.
