Tidal tracks get erroneously scrobbled multiple times

Sometime on Monday 5/20/19, the Tidal-sourced tracks I played on my Plex iOS app version 5.14 (or the web app Version 3.100.1) started being scrobbled up to 20x per song.

When I play a song from my own library, it correctly shows up on my last.fm feed only once. All good.

When I play a Tidal-sourced song in the web based Plex app, it scrobbles a playcount every 10 seconds after the half-way mark, usually 10-20 times total per song,

When I play a Tidal-sourced song in the Plex iOS app, it scrobbles a playcount every 5 seconds for a short time, usually 3-4 times per song.

It was working fine last week, and I don’t think I changed anything. Here’s a screen shot of my last.fm account as I was finishing up the song.

I was using PMS 1.15.5.994 when I first noticed the problem. I upgraded to 1.15.6.1079 the next day, but the problem persists. I’ve tried signing out of the server, shutting down & restarting, un-linking & re-linking the last.fm account (from both plex & last.fm side), un-linking & re-linking the Tidal account, disabling & enabling the Tidal on-line media source. No change. I do not have my Tidal account directly linked to last.fm. All the scrobbles on my last.fm were coming directly from Plex (and Plex was passing through the Tidal tracks that it played to last.fm as expected).

Just wondering if it’s just me or some other setting got jacked.
Thanks.

Thanks for report. One of our guys experienced this yesterday as well. I don’t have an ETA on a fix
