Time Shift "live" files from Channels DVR

Could you please add to the Web Player the function to play back files that are still being recorded from the Channels DVR software, with full time shift functionality.

As of now, when you play back the files, it stops at the end time when the file is loaded, rather than allowing for the additional time as the file continues to “grow” during the recording. I am not sure how the live tv-dvr does this, but universal support for other recordings, including Channels DVR would be greatly appreciated.

This is an OS limitation. Files that are open can’t be continually read like that. It has to have a stop point. Either the file won’t play or it will play up to the point where it already downloaded. I’m going to close this request to give back your vote since this is not technically possible.
