I’m not quite sure where to post this, but I currently use Channels DVR for as my primary DVR and Plex for everything else.
I share out my DVR recordings within Plex and there are times when I’d like to watch something that’s currently being recorded within Channels in Plex.
The issue I’m having is that if the program has recorded 15 minutes, once I start the playback in Plex, it only allows me to play 15 minutes worth of the program and then quits. Is there a way to allow it continue without stopping the program? Or have Plex refresh how much time is left?
Things I’ve tried include pausing the playback within Plex, fast forwarding and rewinding within Plex. If I completely stop the recording and start again, it adjusts the length left but is extremely inconvenient. I’m hoping someone out there is in my boat and knows a quick workaround!
