The latest firmware on the HDHomeRun was important because I was getting dropped recordings with the older firmware.
Extended firmware, iOS, Server and Client are the most recent.
Yes just noticed this post - had missed the update notice on my phone that this was added - hope to see this soon on Android TV clients as well!
I’m really interested in seeing these features on Apple TV especially so since the Apple TV will eventually get Amazon / Amazon Prime video. This gives the Apple TV a bit of an advantage over the Amazon Fire TV or at least it does in some ways.
