Evening all, I have a question about something I hope is not isolated to me. Hardware is as follows: Nvidia Shield 16gb, and Seagate 5tb external running PMS on Shield. I have used MakeMKV and Handbrake to rip and encode about 1000 DVDs and Blu Rays. On very few of them, The Hunger Games Catching Fire for example, the content after I load it onto the external and update the libraries is out of order. What I mean is when playing the movie through Plex, a couple scenes in the movie are out of order. I’ve tried the ripping process severl times with the same results at the same places in the movie. The Blu Ray plays fine BTW. Anyone have any idea what I’m doing wrong?? Thanks for any help in advance…-Curtis
This is more of a question for the MakeMKV crowd, because Plex only plays the media - it does not arbitrarily skip around in the file. You have to pick the correct playlist when you rip the movie.
I’m new to all this so where should I post?

Over at the MakeMKV forums probably. Ripping media is their gig.
Some movies have a bunch of different playlists in them, to make it hard for people to rip. It can take trial and error, or some other means to discover the correct one. The MakeMKV forum is always where I go when I need to pick the right one out of the mess of wrong playlists.
I’ll go check it out, I preciate the help, again!..-Curtis
