Top 10 Custom on My Dashboard

Would it possible to setup a channel of top 10 recommendations that I have setup for example:

I want to be recommended 10 random 80s film, action, comedy every month.

This should be visible on my home tab.

You can already do this by publishing a (smart/regular) collection to the home screen or library “recommended” tab of yours or that of users to whom you’re sharing media.
If you’re using a smart collection for that job, you can configure it to apply YOUR user view state/ratings or that of the users who’s seeing the collection – this can be useful if you want to include/exclude items that user has already seen.

Example:
smart collection

  • filtering decade: 1980s
  • sort by audience rating (or your personal rating)
  • filtering watched = false (based on user view state)
