This isn’t necessarily a solution that I’d expect to find in Plex, but having recently moved my Music over to Plex, I thought I would ask!
I’m looking for a way to create a playlist that has the “famous songs” from each Album and so I wondered if anyone had come across a way to identify tracks that had either charted or that were released as singles?
I’ve got just shy of 1000 albums (circa 16,000 tracks) and while I’ve enjoyed listening to them over time, I think we can all agree that not every album is full of brilliant, wonderful tracks!? So I was looking to create a playlist of the ‘decent’ tracks and I figure that tracks that charted or were at least released as Singles would probably fit the bill!
I realise of course that I could go to each individual album and Star Rate the songs but that would likely take a reasonable time (not least I’d probably have to listen to them again and/or Google)… so I’m all for finding a short cut!
I suspect the answer will probably be to get on and do the Star Rating, but I thought I’d ask if anyone had come across anything like this - either within Plex or more perhaps on some sort of web site where I could provide a track list to and it would pick out the singles/hits!?
Or have I just come up with a brilliant business idea for someone?!
