Can we please get rid of these translucent black bars covering the top of the square artwork in the android app? It breaks the full screen experience and looks unpolished.
I get it’s for the notification bar, but maybe have it blend unnoticeably, instead of cutting into the top of the artwork
Isn’t that one part of your Android OS user interface?
It is but so is the bottom bar which is completely transparent and the top bar is extremely ugly.
To show another app which does this well here is Pokémon Go and you can see the top bar again is completely transparent …
… so being part of the Android OS is not the issue.
