Can we please not put the progress bar on top of the actual poster?

On the new experience app, I see that y’all have opted for placing the progress bar of continue watching items on top of the poster itself (like you do on the Nvidia Shield which I’m also going to politely ask to remove it from the poster and place it below it), please don’t do this as some of us have overlays on the posters. On the iOS app version you do have it below the poster and it looks better. I’m going to attach pics of both so y’all can see the difference.

If you already decided to start the movie/show/episode regardless of the rating or whatever else could be there, why does it matter?

I’m going to pass feedback along but folks will ask.

It’s visuals. I use it a lot as a quick reference. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve opened plex on my phone to see the ratings in something I’m currently watching because I’m in the middle of a conversation about said tv show or movie and I want to reference the ratings. Specially on my phone, this is something that I use a lot, regardless of if I started watching or not. It happens less on the nvidia shield, but it’s still annoying. I want to see the whole poster, the progress bar takes too much of it. The way it’s displayed on the official app is perfect. It’s below the poster and it’s perfect. It’s something we spent time configuring and it’s being blocked. Thanks for passing it along and hopefully this explanation suffice.

Because it looks better. Tell the UI/UX people to quit changing things that don’t need to be changed for no other reason than the sake of change.
