Question is similar to this forum post but specific to Track Radio. Some track radios will not continue playing after the initial playlist generation. This is reproducible on specific tracks.
In the logs when getting towards the end of the playlist, I’ll see some entries like this:
DEBUG - Radio: We’re out of tracks, time to revisit the existing tree.
Also, after the Track Radio starts with the seed track, I see lines like this:
DEBUG - [Track Radio/Music] Closest item from 189149 was a distance of 0.185 away.
DEBUG - [Track Radio/Music] Furthest item from 189149 was a distance of 0.591 away.
DEBUG - [Track Radio] Got 13 tracks.
DEBUG - [Track Radio/Music] Closest item from 186620 was a distance of 0.247 away.
DEBUG - [Track Radio/Music] Furthest item from 186620 was a distance of 0.371 away.
DEBUG - [Track Radio] Augmented similar artists with 0 sonically similar.
DEBUG - [Track Radio] 1 similar artists, 1 second order artists.
DEBUG - [Track Radio] Picked 9 tracks with max score 9.4, median score 9.2, min score 9.0
DEBUG - [Track Radio] Radio: Split shuffle into buono/brutto/cattivo of 7/0/0.
DEBUG - [Track Radio] Radio: Dithering 7 grandparent lists.
DEBUG - [Track Radio] Radio: Performing final dither on 7 tracks.
DEBUG - [Track Radio] Didn’t get enough good tracks, so try again with bigger set.
Does the entry about max/median/min score mean that Track Radio will not continue refreshing if there aren’t songs close enough to the seed track? I’m guessing yes, given that last debug line. Is this the expected behavior?
Currently running Plexamp 3.5.0, Plex Server 1.24.0.4930. Super Sonic analysis was run on ~9000 songs over ~2900 albums, so I have a decently sized set of songs to pull from.
