Plex on ATV is version 1.17
Server is 1.9.2.4285
Selected to play 1 trailer before my movies and 1 fixed trailer.
Since some time (maybe 1 release earlier) only the fixed trailer will be played.
I’m not able to reproduce this, could you provide logs for us to try and track this down? Instructions for doing that on Apple TV are available here https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/212639598-Apple-TV-Logs
I tried to reproduce it, but I updated to the latest Plex Server 1.9.3.4290 and it seems to work again.
So maybe a problem with the old server version.
If it happens again (and I tried several days to get the trailers working again) I will update the post.
