Managed to get plex connect to the Apple TV but when I try and play any content I am getting Trailers Unavailable Please Try Later, has anyone else experienced this issue... and come up with a fix?
Yes. Had the Same Problems. After updating to the latest plexConnect Script and to pms 0.9.8 (plex pass only right now) ist was gone.
I am tempted to become a plexpass user.... I know I have the latest version of plexconnect as just installed via git this afternoon. I have found a temp work around at the moment it appears to work when you press the play button on the Apple remote I only got this error when using the middle button
This is the "PrePlay Screen" issue in combination with an old aTV firmware (<5.1).
Old iOS doesn't support the identifier...
Do you recommend upgrading ATV3 to latest firmware then? I am currently on 5.1
I did. I haven't touched my ATV3 since I got it (was a present), waiting for a JB that would never come. If any JB is coming it will be in a future version, no one is working on the current 5.x ones, so no reason not to.

Yeah if you have an ATV3 there is no reason to stay on 5.1.
