I Have a Plex Server running on a M1 Mac Mini and every time I restart the computer (it is set to restart every morning) the webhook stop working. I have to remove the webhook and add it again so it will work. Tried several articles here and other web forums but no solution. Trakt support went through my logs and said everything is good on their side.
What can I do?
I have the exact same issue. Would love a fix.
And also, Plex «trakts» movies/episodes several minutes (sometime ten minutes) before they have actually finished playing. This did not happen with the old Plex/Trakt scrobbler.
I never had this problem until I restored a backup from an old Mac mini to a new one. Is that your case?
Yes, spot on. From a Mac Mini mid 2011 to Mac Mini M2 2023.
Probably, somethings being replaced every time we restart the computer. But what?
Beats me. I’m not a technical wiz, so I don’t even have a theory.
I can, however, add that on my old Mac Mini I did not use Webhooks for Trakt – I used that old Scrobbler on OpenPHT (the best player ever – may it rest in peace). It worked like a charm.
Let’s hope a Plex/Trakt employee reads our little thread, and gets a eureka-moment and pushes a fix.
We can not be the only ones with this issue, right? I refuse to believe that every Plex/Trakt-user starts from scratch after bying a new computer.
I’m almost deleting the server and creating a new one from scratch… It’s very annoying. Tried troubleshooting through GPT, but no success…
