Transcode settings?

Hi,

I am going to be upgrading from my original Silicon Dust HDTC-2US that I got when it first came out to the new Silicon Dust HDHR5-4US so I can do 4 recordings at once.

Can you tell me what you would use for settings when setting it up for use with the Plex DVR?

For the Device itself in the setup page what would you set the Default Transcode Profile to be (I was using Heavy before) and what DLNA formats should I be advertising?

In Plex what Transcoder quality should I be using? I am using Highest right now, but maybe I should be using Original or something different?

Looking forward to suggestions to make sure my recordings work the best.

You can use whatever setting you want. There is no optimal setting for Plex.
