Hey all- getting a new issue following some failed transcodes. This is what I’m seeing repeating in the logs

Your network configuration is extremely unstable.
Your network adapter configs are resetting – DHCP ???

It’s forcing plex to reset ever few seconds.
Plex implodes from there.

Wow… unstable is right… yes, running DHCP, on a VM. Looking at networkctl and seeing all those randomly added virtual ethernet devices in there (IDX 4-18). Any advice on how to remove these virtual devices correctly? Apologies, as i’m still getting comfortable with linux and am fairly new to a lot of this. networkctl delete returned unknown operation in this case unfortunately

I have no idea what you did to get it in that state.
It must be something you added.

My advice?

  1. Create a new VM.
  2. Install Plex. - Native package
  3. Keep things simple while you learn. Nothing is gained by adding multiple layers and struggling to learn Linux

Docker requires a level of mastery on top of mastery of Linux.
You’re asking for a bag of hurt if learning both at the same time.
