Thanks for supplying the logs
Even with Plex cleaning up after itself, you ran out of space on the Transcoder Temp directory device. (memory)

It appears you only have a 4GB system?
Using memory for transcoder temp isn’t going to help here.
As you can see, it causes failure.
Disk is more than fast enough for this.
Ahh that makes sense! I had only allocated 4GB to the VM running plex.
However, shouldn’t 4GB be sufficient for a single 720p stream? I haven’t had problems streaming multiple 20mbps 1080p videos on the same setup.
You’re fine with 4GB provided you use the HDD (default) for temporary transcode buffer.
HDD’s are good for 100+ MB (which translates to 800 Mbps of video).
If you want instant seek time, you must allocate RAM to buffer it and 4GB is not enough.
For NAS systems which want this, we always tell them 8GB as a minimum.
You likely have a full Ubuntu distro in the VM? That takes 1+ GB all by itself.
With Plex sitting idle. free -m
let me see what you have
PS: Turning off DEBUG logging makes diagnosis tougher. It doesn’t save anything. Logs sizes are fixed regardless. Default is DEBUG on with VERBOSE OFF (keep off)
