Got it now
Ian, I apologize, but in my rush I copied Plex Media Sever Log 1. I am attaching the log without any numbers after it.
Yeah i'm having an issue with playback. it pauses every few seconds for buffering on a 1080p/dts file. I tested the stream to my popcorn hour a400 and it streams fine over there. (same network hookup as my xbox) 1gig LAN back to my server that has all of the storage.

also my cpu was at 35-60% during the playback. (all plex, nothing else taking up cpu cycles)

Thanks for the logs. I've pinged one of the server developers to see if they can take a look for us.

I tested another video. It was playing OK, but this i suspect it was a much lower throughput because for whatever reason Plex was transcoding the audio to AAC.

Thanks Ian. It is running smoother now, but I am not really sure why. I have tested various 1080P files and they don't seem to be stuttering anymore.
same here, i had changed it to highest quality during my first run. When i checked the logs i saw the bittrate was pretty low, around 4-6mbps. After exiting the movie and restarting now im seeing 9-12mps for a bit rate and no more stuttering. but not sure why some of the movies are not doing direct play.
audio sounds odd too. but maybe im just nit picking here hehe
^Audio is most likely because of.... That stinks, all of my stuff is either in DTS, or DTS-HD. and yes while i get it transcodes to AC3 i want it to just pass-through the audio to my receiver.
Does the application support DTS?
No. At present, there is no support for 3rd party applications to play DTS. However, Plex Media Server will transcode DTS audio into AC3 in order to preserve the surround sound audio channels. We're working with Microsoft to bring DTS playback support in the future.
Does the following line refer to the bitrate the video is playing at or the bitrate that the Plex App is receiving data at?

You mentioned earlier that it appeared to get better for a short time. Could this coincide when other people/clients are streaming from the same server? I'm wondering if there might be issues with multiple clients at the same time effecting each other too much. Does that sound plausible?
