Maybe I am just unaware but is there a way to transfer media from one PMS to another? They are on 2 separate networks but are both under my plex plus account.
I use one that runs the plex DVR (limited space on a windows computer) and another as a main server with all files (on raspberry pi 3 with 4tb of space). Do I have to go in and download all files individually or can I batch transfer/download all files at once through plex?
Basically I want to add my Pi PMS as a sync option (currently only mobile devices show up) so it can download the recordings automatically. The DVR will still be running but I want to move it to another computer with out using an external hard drive. Best would be if I could automate this whole process.
Also, don’t count on this coming about anytime in the near future. I guess Feature Requests make a “Boring World” for the Plex Team, and they don’t want that. They would rather produce half functional features (which may or may not work right when they stop working on them.) than to expend efforts making the Features the user community requests on these forums.
Seems we’re not an accurate gauge of what the community wants, so who are we to request such Features?
What a boring world it would be where all we were allowed to work on were things which customers requested! Surely there’s a healthy mix, and based on initial feedback a lot of people are enjoying the photo tagging feature. Also, I know you were just being snarky, but iOS doesn’t allow editing auto-tags either, so I’m not sure what to tell you.

Elan did not say that Plex doesn’t want to do the feature request, but that they don’t want to ONLY do feature requests.
I love eating pizza, but if I had to ONLY eat pizza everyday, that would be boring. That doesn’t mean I don’t still like pizza.
You are going to have to go third party to do this. There are lots of programs you can use to keep files or directories in “sync” that will work on Mac, Windows & Linux. Not sure what’s available for the PI however as I don’t use one.
