Hey Guys,
Just recently just added more storage space to my computer and I am looking to move my files. Details listed below:
Currently:
(C drive internal drive) holds my plex server files the program and the metadata. {this drive is not being replace}
(E drive external drive) is my external where all my media is stored.
My goal:
Move the media from my external harddrive to my new internal harddrive. While keeping my program and the metadata in my (C drive).
Is this process as simple as copying the files over and linking the drives to the server? or will the metadata not recognize if I do it that way.
