Transmogrify for Plex: A browser extension that adds features to Plex/Web

The "Can I stream It?" feature is overlaying the other features (Rotten Tomatoes, Trakt ...) when it finally loads on the page. Is it possible to avoid overlaying and speed up the actual launch? It takes between 5 - 15 seconds to appear.

I'm guessing your browser window isn't 1920x1080? I'm gonna look into how to fix the size issue. As for the long appearance time that's out of my hands, that's canistreamit taking forever to load the widget content. I'm not sure why their servers are so slow. My guess is that when you load a movie widget they actually check availability with every service, instead of caching the results for a while. That's the only explanation I can think of for why it takes a ridiculously long time to load.

Yes. I am actually using a 720p HDTV as a monitor.

Okay I’ll look into it

Just a heads up on the Firefox version at least, the auto update does not work, I had to delete 5.1 to get 6.0.  No biggie just thought I would mention it.  Thanks for all the work on this its a nice add on.

That may be because it hasn't been reviewed and approved yet by the Mozilla team.

Question (and I didn't read the entire tread so sorry if it was already mentioned)

Mine doesn't show anything even after configuring it.

I was wondering, could it be related to the fact that I use the XBMC nfo importer agents?

**Actually, only place that it shows something is in TV episodes (TRAKT and ratings)

Yes that would be the reason. Could you link me to the agent so I could see what it returns in the metadata for each media

I'm not in a position to install it anytime soon, but could you provide the metadata XML for a movie and tv show from plex? If you go to the movie/tv show page on plex web, there's an info link on the left side. When you open that there's a link to view the metadata XML. Could you copy and paste the output of that into pastie.org or something and pm me the links?

Perfect, thanks. Which browser do you use btw? Just so I can whip up a test version for you

Chrome

Can you try installing this version (after disabling the old one) and see if it works? https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/transmogrify-for-plex-tes/ofkbaohocojojnignjdfmnbdlaoilkpn

Nice, excellent job, it works!

Plex team should really think about adding RT ratings and Trakt link like this in PMS, really great!

And trailers, well, it's no secret we want it. lol

Again, nicely done. Very fast, doesn't even feel like an extension is doing this. I love it.

Based on a request I made a while ago about separating TMDB ratings from user ratings (stars), do you think you could add TMDB / IMDB ratings (on 10) in there?

I've always wanted to see mines and official ones. Now, as soon as I rate mine, I lose TMDB ratings...

If you think it could be interesting...

Awesome, I'll push it up now into the main extension

I could pull the tmdb rating for a movie certainly. I just need to look into how to tell if the ratings shown on a page are a user's ratings or the untouched tmdb ratings.

Well, it already shows (white=fetched, yellow=user)

The way I was seeing this was simply to show it like RT on 10 (not stars) separately (IMDB or TMDB, whatever you want. Or even both with option to choose what user prefer  )

Something simple like this:

I'm just suggesting. You have done an excellent job so far.

I love it because it fits well in Plex/Web layout and doesn't seem "heavy" in loading.

I've added it to my (getting rather long) todo list.

I've pushed v0.6.1 out with support for the XBMCnfo agent, and better placing of the Can I Stream It? widget

Suggestion (to add to your super big list  :P

Option to remove title of the rating... I think it would be cleaner without and icons represents well what it is...

***For Trakt, maybe just put the "tv logo" in front of rating and make this rating the link to Trakt... (of course if possible as I'm not sure what it in your extension)

Just giving suggestion, not a deal breaker at all...

***I'm really getting used to this, lol. I was in PHT and was kind of looking for it while navigating in my library... So again, thank you for this extension and your work on this, great addition to Plex/Web! Now, for me it's a must in Plex/Web.

Where is the Safari extension?
