Transmogrify for Plex: A browser extension that adds features to Plex/Web

Suggestion (to add to your super big list  :P

Option to remove title of the rating... I think it would be cleaner without and icons represents well what it is...

***For Trakt, maybe just put the "tv logo" in front of rating and make this rating the link to Trakt... (of course if possible as I'm not sure what it in your extension)

Just giving suggestion, not a deal breaker at all...

***I'm really getting used to this, lol. I was in PHT and was kind of looking for it while navigating in my library... So again, thank you for this extension and your work on this, great addition to Plex/Web! Now, for me it's a must in Plex/Web.

I think with the trakt logo I could remove it, but I'll need to doublecheck the terms and conditions. But the Rotten Tomatoes logo I cannot remove, usage of their API requires abiding by some very restrictive terms and conditions on how I present the API data.

Where is the Safari extension?

I will look into it in the near future, hopefully it won't be too difficult to port over. Although I've just remembered that they stopped support for Safari for Windows ages ago, so development on it may be difficult.

Fantastic add-on, one question though, would it be possible to expand on the "missing season episodes view" by also including a "missing season view", this would be very handy also as a notification/reminder when the next session of a show will be available (or became available)...etc

Thanks once again !

P.S. I hope Plex developers contact you to implement some of your code/idea's into the base application as it really does make the product allot better and features like trailer support is something they have been having allot of issues in getting out and is highly requested... (I'm trying to find ways to use the web interface over the Plex add just for this reason but I mainly use remote control with my media centre and don't often have access to a mouse which is causing to be tricky but I'll keep at it)

Yep, I've already been working on missing seasons view. It'll be out in the next update

v0.6.2 has just been pushed out. It adds a missing seasons view, in addition the the missing episodes view, and adds a switch (in the left action bar) to show/hide missing seasons/episodes. This also adds some bug fixes for the missing episodes view and fixes some code that made the Mozilla addon submission fail (now resubmitted). Enjoy.

I just wanted to say that I use your plugin on a daily basis and it's amazing how elegant and useful it is.  Kudos for the continued support!

IMDB ratings would be cool,

I have a made a mock up below

also adding from trakt ( not sure if possible ) plus you could do it for movies also

Yep, I've already been working on imdb integration. That'll be in the update coming out soon. Your related shows idea is interesting, I'll look into that.

I managed to fix an issue that was holding up the release of the next update, so v0.7.0 has been pushed out. This adds IMDB ratings to movie pages and a feature that lets you filter out movies and tv shows on the main dashboard page. This releases also handles tvdb’s broken data, which was causing issues on the missing episodes view. Enjoy

Nice!

That was fast!

Nice work

I don't understand the "filter out" feature...

***Update: never mind, I get it now. Very cool!!!!

Got damn, every time you add a feature, it's something that Plex should have done in the first place built in.

another few mock ups that would be cool i think - if even possible...

''seen it" banners

So like the opposite of the unwatched markers? Did you create those banners yourself?

Those are Trakt banners BTW.
Plus, if you decide to add these, please make this optional as I personally think they look ugly (personal opinion)

I personally don't think we should go the opposite concept of Plex (show watched instead of unwatched) but that's for me.

Also, blue isn't Plex theme. It should be orange (blue is more MB3). Android client also uses blue which I find to be a weird decision personally.

I agree, blue isn't a Plex colour. But the idea is interesting, I'll have to think about it. As always, it'd be optional anyway.

yes, opposite of the unwatched markers, i myself, never take notice of the markers now as they are to small and dont stand out

I did not create them, as sfnetwork has said they are just taken from trakt :)

The mock up was more of a idea of how it would look, you could have any color, hence orange would be the best fitting color to match plex scheme

Plus the great thing is you can always make it optional

Or you could keep with plex and make

“Unwatched” banners

Hello, first let me say thank you for that plugin. Great piece of work. I have tested it today on desktop firefox browser. It works like a charm. I even tried to get it working on an android tab with firefox but unfortunately it didnt. Does anyone get it to work on firefox browser in android or am I missing something? Requirements says that a version bigger than 20.0 is needed. Mine is 28…

You managed to install it on an Android device? That's odd, I'm pretty sure the extension submission process told me the extension was incompatible with mobile devices and would be restricted. To be honest I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work, the extension is just pure Javascript and CSS. So yea I can't really help you there.

On a related note, the extension has finally been approved for the Mozilla addons store(?). So now automatic updates are enabled and users can find it through searches in the store.

Hmm thats a pitty. I hoped someone got this to work with mobile firefox browser on android. But if firefox says not possible… ok I have to accept. Maybe it will work in future. But thank you for the fast response!
