Tried everything, red everything twice, no way to receive answers from other forum companions. What does Plex Pass serves for?

No way to receive instructions for deleting exceeding accounts if existing. Saving the Plex Pass to a new account if this new account must be created.
No indications of how to change the Plex Media Server from the Mac to the WD My Cloud Home NAS.
Tired of all of that. Must I think that Plex is aiming its applications to high professionals only.
Have a look of the forums and you will realise what a huge people in trouble. No one knows anything, and everybody is tired of it all, answers don’t come and solution is desperation and forgetting about Plex and WD My cloud Home. Is that a correct enterprise policy?

My dear Triumph I’m a 68 Triumph Tiger rider, but my youth had nothing to do with computers and of course I recognise this is not my matter. But if you instead of giving me a helpful hand prefer to laugh at me, i cannot change it and humbly accept your laughs!

I’ll try to be more precise and explain myself better although english language isn’t my born language:

  1. I do not want to use more than one server. I guess I have different accounts and I’d like to delete the ones which have not a Plex Pass.
  2. Keeping the one with the Plex Pass, I’d like to run the Plex Server App on the NAS instead of the Mac.
  3. Is it possible?
    in case of an affirmative answer, how must I proceed? I feel very sorry for my limited skills but I understand
    that considering that I am 68 yo I’m not the first case you find of my conditions. Besides that I’d like you to take under consideration that I’m trying to expose my troubles in a foreign language. If you think that my situation does not applies to trying to find an answer in a forum or request the help of a moderator I beg your pardon.
    I haven’t been able to find the answer in the tons and tons of questions included in the forum and articles, what do seems to happen to lots of other companions who are in similar cases. I can assure you that I would never think that the answer of a moderator might be “look at Google”".

Not very hard at all.
Even with his broken English it’s pretty clear he isn’t looking to add a server, but move his server to a different device.
Though the answer may be similar it’s pretty cool to see that the Plex preffered, patronizing, arrogant attitude is now spreading to Ninjas.

Hi Trumpy 81 it was on 9th december I received your mail, and I still Haven’t been ablo to run plex from my WDMy Cloud Home instead from my iMac.
I know this is not your fault but mine, but I have no other way to try to find a solution than asking help to you as you already know my Problem.

I know I needn’t more than one server, but I I’ve found that I have two accounts and I want to delete one of them as well as its server, but HOW?

  1. One of the servers is “alvar iMac Server” linked to alvar@vicasa.com and the image of a horse. (This one has a Plex Pass and is represented by an immage of a horse). Its password is: xxxxxxxxxxxxx

  1. The other one is “iMac Cloud Home”, linked to the same mail address, but different password which I can’t remember now, and an image represented by “AL”.

It also seems to me that all the libraries are in this second one, reason why deleting that account makes it more complicated as I can’t transfer them from one account to the other.

  1. I think I need to have the Plex Server on the WD my Cloud Home instead on the iMac, in order to be able to acces to all the info contained in the cloud even when the iMac is in Stand by mode.

How can I know when the Plex server is on the Nas or in the computer? Is there any way to prove it? And how can I make the Plex app run on the Mycloud Home?

    to realise that my knowledge is very poor in this matter, and this procedure (even after reading many articles about) becomes unundertandable to me. So all all your helsp supplied to me weill be

    of great interest considering that I’m fighting to solve all my problems with Plex since two months ago, or even more.
