Many Plex Server owned, desiring to close all excepting the one on the WD My Cloud Home

I do have 3 plex media servers and I think it is a nonsense, of all of those servers I only want to keep the one running on the WD My Cloud home. But I do not know how to delete all the others.
Besides that, all myphotos are classified in the appel Photos app. What should I do to have them available through Plex?
And even one more issue: How can I get a remote access?

  1. Plex > settings > account > authorized devices > server > remove the ones you don’t want

  2. you need to create a photo library in the web admin (link above), then enable photo upload on your plex mobile client.

  3. not sure what you mean for remote access, any plex client should get remote access as long as you are logged into the same account as your server. You can also access the plex web via the link above, from any web browser.

Hi, I´ve followed your indications but I do still have a server which says ¨this server is unclaimed and not secure¨. This is the one I have in my iMac and all the media are better organized than in the one I run on My Cloud Home. Maybe I could claim it and copy the same distribution and then close it?

if the server is unclaimed then it is not associated with your account.

you would need to have the server login and associate to your account if you want to keep it.

do note that if you keep the server on your imac, then your imac needs to be left on if you want to be able to access your media through it.

otherwise you can simply uninstall the plex server from your imac, you should not need to do anything else.

Maybe it is not associated to my account but if I put my username and password this is the account that opens up even if it says that this is’nt a secure connection, and the ip adress seems not to be mine…

I’ve been thinking about it, and I wonder if I might keep the organisation of all my media as it is in that server but running it on the My Cloud Home. Would it be possible? How could I achieve it?
I Have the user name and the password of this acount evn though the ip doesn´t look like belonging to me. It is a very strange ip.
If I could do so, then I would eliminate the server on the My Cloud and substitute it by this one.
Are there any risks of getting intruders in my net?

My situation Right now: I have two accounts (or servers, maybe I confuse the terms) one is on my iMac and the other one is on my Wd my Cloud. Of course I prefer the last one because then the iMac hasn’t to be necessary on, but the one on the iMac has organised my media in a better than the one running on the My Cloud Home. Might I keep the one on my iMac but getting it running on my WD My Cloud?
Then I would cancel the one on my iMac. This would be the most desirable solution to me. If you want, I might give you more references about both account (or servers) to make it easier to yo to understand what I mean.
