Trouble With Metadata

Could a browser be an issue? I use Firefox and always get “Allow Flash” prompt. For S&Gs, I changed to MS Edge and was able to select Plex Premium library. It’ll be tomorrow when the scan has finished, so I’ll know how the metadata was interpreted.

Try this in Firefox…Options/Advanced/Network and see if “No Proxy” is selected. Mines set to that setting with nothing else selected and i don’t have any issues. Just curious

Will do, after the scan. Pretty sure I already has FF that way. I have ~5K songs and a slow connection.

I have noticed there’s only Recently Added for browsing, unlike before when there was Artist and Album. Maybe it and the playlists will show up when the scan is finished.

I finished up and everything is as it should be. I figured out the Artist/Album part and the playlists came through without duplication or corruption. I don’t know enough about computing, let alone Plex to guess the issue. This was my fourth? fifth? install (I went back and forth with Plex and Emby, at first) and this was the first time for error. Maybe the FF/Premium build was coincidence, maybe it was a corrupted Plex DL.

Thanks to all that participated. This can be marked Closed/Solved.
