I purged and reinstalled v9.11.2 nodejs and voila!
I wonder why systemctl status showed everything green, while the additional logging clearly indicated a prblem? Thanks for the help @CostaHT and @odinb1 !

You must have done something manually, since the installer-script will uninstall nodejs (purge it actually), and install the correct version, and then hold it!
