I am having a problem when I try to optimize any movies saved in the MPG format. I get a error stating “Unable to convert” whenever I try to optimize for TV or Mobile. Problem happens using version 9.17.2 or the prior version. Any ideas as to what it may be?
There is a newer version now available (0.9.17.3), first check after updating, otherwise the log files will be able to shed more light on your problem.

I have what appears to be the latest version of Plex Server installed/ The download page still has Version 0.9.16.6.1993-5089475 listed as current and from the General Server Settings page I am told I have the current version even after checking for new updates. I will check the logs. Thanks
Finally found the version 0.9.17.3 and installed it. All appears to be working now. Have successfully converted 3 that failed under the old version. Thanks for your help and patience.
