TS-451 running 4.2 firmware current server version

Current Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488 on a TS-451 running 4.2.5 firmware, which is the 32bit version.

I just checked plex.tv and I don’t see the a 32bit version of plex server anymore. I haven’t upgraded to the 64 bit version (firmware 4.3+) because I don’t believe transmission, my BT client on the NAS was ever updated to the 4.3 firmware. Therefore I’m stuck on the 32 bit 4.2.x firmware, and I would like to at least update my plex server to the lastest version I can but I dont have access to that anymore of plex’s webpage.

32 bit is discontinued, sorry

No possible way to update to the last version of 32 bit? I’m currently on 1.14.1.5488 and I’d at least like to get as up to date as possible before any other major changes to my hardware/workflow.

Nope…They are not been build anymore…

Qnap are not supporting it anymore, and with their new 64 bit OS also updated glibc, which is now what PMS builds against, and as such, no more 32 builds

Sorry, but time to move on, when your NAS Vendor decides it’s no longer supported, and instead start to hammer on the other 3.Party app vendors, that hasn’t, as Plex did, followed along

I dont think you’re hearing my question, I was hoping someone could help provide the last released version of the server software. I hope I’m not being difficult, I’m a little surprised there is no way to get what was the last build for the 4.2 firmware, not even in a discontinued form.

If I update my qnap hardware to the 64bit firmware, I’ll lose some of my other legacy applications, I don’t have a solution for those yet, so simply updating to the latest firmware is not in the cards just yet, I’m working on it, but it doesn’t seem so bad to ask if there is a way to obtain the highest, most recent version that they had made available.

1.14.1.5488 is the latest for your 32 bit platform, so yes, I did hear your Q correctly.

1.15.x.x is 64 bit only

Thank you for confirming that at least. It’s quite a coincidence that what I have was the last one given how infrequently I checked for updates. At least I know that.
