Tuner Setup wont find device

Hello everyone,

Just built a new PC, brand new Windows 11 build. WinTV-dualHD plugged in to USB port - device manager identifies properly. Plex DVR setup does not find the tuner. Ive gone through the searches this evening trying to solution, and Ive done a number of things:

  • Uninstalled and reinstalled Plex (with lots of reboots)
  • Uninstalled and reinstalled tuner drivers (with lots of reboots)
  • Opened the db to delete all rows of the plugin.library
  • Installed (and uninstalled) WinTV to make sure the HW all still works

Im out of ideas. I see lots of threads in the last two years of similar complaints, but no resolutions that work. Has anyone made progress here?

Attaching logs at the bottom. I dont see anything in there that appears to help but maybe someone else does. My Plex libraries are empty, all Im trying to do is get DVR running.

Amazingly this issue has resolved itself. I didnt change anything, but went back to try again about a week later. Multiple reboots of the windows machine but no other active config change by me, and no plex or windows updates. Tried again today and the tuner was detected and DVR is now working.
