Why there is only support for 1 (ONE!) USB tuner under macOS for DVR?
Mac’s dont use a standard method of tuner support, like Video4Linux-DVB, and BDA in Windows, so there’s no way to easily support tuners, that’s why so little 3rd party software exists for them. We’d like to support them, but can’t give any ETA’s.

Once upon a time which extended the MultiMedia Input framework to support DVB devices, which was awesome… too bad it hasn’t been maintained in years.
