Recently on the PS4, tv episodes that I’m watching, will cut out 5 to 10 seconds before the actual end of the file. I searched the forums and apparently this used to happen to people on iOS, so I did what was recommended there and made sure everything is up to date. It’s still doing it for me. It ONLY happens on PS4 as well. I have the app on Roku, Chromecast, Android and iOS devices, but it’s only the PS4 that’s giving me problems.
Any suggestions?
Please attach your Plex Media Server log for a video playback which cut out early. I’ve caught wind of a similar error from some of our Vizio users. Thanks!
I can confirm this. ALL media cuts out about 4 or 5 seconds early on PS4.

This is happening to me too lately. PS4
I’ve started seeing this happen (for the first time last night). I later found out I had left Plex Home Theatre loaded on my mac paused 1/2 way through an episode of the show I was watching. Once I closed this the problem appeared to go away.

This is happening for me also on both PS3 and PS4. I have attached a log file where it just happened while playing back an episode of The Big Bang Theory (‘The Killer Robot Instability’) on PS3.
Alright, here my particular log. It’s not ALWAYS reproducible. It can cut anywhere from 4-10 seconds early but sometimes, not at all. So here is a log where an episode of The Shield cut out a few seconds early. I tried to reproduce the worst offender for this problem, a few eps of Mr. Robot, but just my luck, they played right through to the end this time.
