I upgraded to the latest apple tv firmware and the latest beta build at the same time so Im not sure where the problem came from, but the TV series screen has gone “white” and is not usable for much right now. This is happening on all 3 of my Apple TVs.
Try downgrading Plex to the previous version (possible through Testflight on the ATV if I recall correctly) or uninstalling the app completely and reinstalling – I’m running the latest regular release of ATV and latest beta release of Plex and it works fine.
I’m experiencing the same issue as well. Build 1.21 (7618). Looks fine on the previous build.
Ditto. And when on the screen the play button on the remote doesn’t work, but pressing the main button on the remote while it’s over the play button on screen does work. They used to both do the same thing at this point.

Hi, thanks for the reports. This is a weird issue we’re only seeing on our TestFlight beta builds and not when we’re developing the app locally, which is why we missed this one!
We’re working on a fix right now, and we’ll have a new build with a fix ASAP. (And I’ll post here when we do)
Latest version from TestFlight fixes this issue for me on all 3 apple TV’s - Thanks guys!
Issue is fixed for me as well on the newest build. However, I did notice that the coloring is not the same as the older builds (colors seem more toned-down).
Confirmed the new build fixed the issue for me. I did notice that the coloring is lighter then the other builds also.
That screen is no longer white, but the play button on the remote still doesn’t do anything when on that screen (it used to until the white-screen bug - not calling them related issues, just co-incidental timing). Have to highlight the on-screen play button and click the remote’s generic select button.
