So, thank god for Xcode allowing wireless linking to our Apple TV’s now, because I wouldn’t have been able to grab this screen shot otherwise!
This happened when I scrolled downwards from the top-level menu.

Could you check the 1.18 beta that just went out and see if this is still happening for you? Do you have a 4k Apple TV or the 4th gen?
The 1.18 beta is not giving me the issue.
And loooove the minor update to the media icons. This tiny change, honestly, made me truly take notice enough to include it here. Thanks to the peeps who had that thought!
And I have the AppleTV 4. No need yet for the 4k.
