User can already drop items from Continue Watching (⋮ > Remove from Continue Watching). Keep in mind that’s a per-user option, nothing you can do centrally for individual users.
There’s another request asking to allow users to ignore items from a shared library – however that request is aiming at hiding those items from the shared library for good.
