TV show theme music only if focused or provide a 'stop playing song' button

If you enable playing TV show theme music when on the show page, plex will do so regardless of if you are focusing on the page.

For example: If I open a TV show page then switch to a different tab, the music will keep blaring; there is no ‘stop playing’ button either so the solution ends up being to close the tab or mute the computer until the song ends.

It would be nice if either:

  1. TV show pages provided a ‘stop playing’ button that would end playback of the theme music
  2. Provide an option in settings not to play music if the window is not ‘in focus’.

Either way would allow a user to open a new TV show page then switch away from it without having to mute their computer.

I assume this isn’t so much about Plex Web as most browsers these days already support muting individual tabs or have an option to mute non-active tabs.

It would be generally a nice feature for multiple plex interfaces. Chromium based browsers, for example, only let you mute per-website, not per-tab; so if you open two plex windows, and watch something in one, while the other plays music, then you either have to pause the show and wait it out, mute the show and song-playing tab, or close the tab.
