Is it possible to show TV Show trailers like with the Movie section?

There’s some online trailers and extras for tv shows (if you have a Plex Pass) – however those are super rare.

I found a few in my library for those shows:

  • Avatar: The Last Airbender
  • Friends
  • Sherlock

That being said… Plex does not Local Media Assets for TV Shows (so you cannot store your own trailers etc. alongside the show).

No big deal, but if it can be done for Movies I can not see why it can’t be done for TV Shows

Well… you can vote for the related feature suggestion:

Alternatively you can dig into custom 3rd party agents that look for the respective files in your system and allow adding them to shows, seasons and single episodes. That being said… just having it in your Plex database will not make them show up in your plex clients
