Hello,
Just a question,
In the main view where the “Recently Added TV” and “On Deck” are visible , there is always showing the “main” poster of show and not the “Season” poster, is there a setting to change this to “season poster”

No setting, no logic:
aha , thanks
It seems the only people who see the error in this thought process are users - who can’t do a thing about it.
That has annoyed me for several years now. I posted here:
asking Plex to look at the inconsistent way that Plex displays posters for seasons and episodes in Recently Added and On Deck, but it’s gathering more dust than votes as a feature request. :’(
Right now, you will always have the main poster in the On Deck section. You can get a season poster in the Recently Added section if you add two or more episodes to the same season at the same time. Obviously Plex can show the season poster in some situations, so the info seems to be accessible. I know it’s more complicated than a simple “cut and paste” the code from this case to that case, but it shouldn’t be an impossible and time consuming task to give us season posters in all cases. After all, it just seems to make sense, doesn’t it?
… and this REALLY makes sense - so you can clearly see everything is going exactly according to a well thought out plan…:
@JuiceWSA – yeah I commented on that glitch way back in 2015 in the Roku section.

That was tied in with the bug that counted episodes in recently added and if you did it right (or wrong, depending on your point of view) you could end up with only one show in recently added. The “one show” part was fixed eventually, but the duplicate entries wasn’t.
The weird thing is, I use PlexPy (Tautulli) to monitor usage on Plex, and it correctly displays season posters and groups the recently added into one poster consistently and logically. So it is possible.
