I have the Plex app on both my Samsung and LG smart TVs at home and use them both regularly, now I love the tv themes feature; it’s great that it’s there and when I select a show the theme starts to play. All good, however, when I then select a session the theme restarts from the beginning. This happens on the app on both TVs. If the theme would just play once continuously whilst I’m within one tv show and stop when I leave that tv show that would be great and I assume this is what it’s intended to do. The restarting of the theme every time I click into a season or episode is quite irritating 
anyone else experienced this???
I liked that feature at first, and then it got really annoying… I can’t remember why, but probably for the reasons you’re outlining… I turned it off… Especially since some of them were at low volume, and some of them were heavily compressed making them ridiculously loud… It was a neat feature, but it was short lived for me…
I don’t know of a way to correct it, or if it can be corrected, but to be honest, it will probably get really annoying really quickly for you 
It is annoying simply because the theme restarts upon selecting a season within a TV show. I love the feature… I just want it to work as it’s intended to. In fact I wish it was something I could also add to movie collections. I assume it’s a bug in both the smart tv applications for LG and Samsung as it works perfectly fine on my IOS devices,

I tend to agree, it could be become annoying. These Themes tend to be louder than expected, so a setting to control there repeat play would be great improvement to our experience.
