TVDB Agent funktioniert nicht mehr

Ich hab seit heute das Problem, dass der klassische (also nicht der neue experimentelle) TVDB-Agent die Serien nicht mehr erkennt.

Hier am Beispiel der Serie “Tatort”.
Der automatische Scan hat die Files gefunden, hat aber keine Zuordnung vorgenommen. Aber auch die manuelle Suche nach “Tatort” wahlweise mit bzw. ohne Jahreszahl funktioniert nicht mehr.

Die automatische Erkennung ist mir ehrlich gesagt relativ egal, aber das manuelle Matching hat bisher immer funktioniert. Jetzt nicht mehr…

Das ist das Ergebnis des versuchten automatischen Scans beim Aufruf “Zuordnen” und dann erst eine manuelle Suche nach Tatort mit der Jahreszahl 1970 und danach der manuellen Suche nach Tatort ohne Jahreszahl (unmittelbar vorher hatte ich alle beteiligten Plugin Caches gelöscht)… alles sämtlich ohne Ergenis.

Wenn ich die angegebene URL
https://tvdb2.plex.tv/search/series?name=Tatort
manuell in den Browser eintrage, bekomme ich (natürlich wegen fehlender Autentifizierung) den folgenden String zurück:

Es ist aber eben kein Problem, dass der Service down ist o.ä.
Der Zeitstempel der init.py im TheTVDB.bundle auf dem Server ist vom 23.2.2021, also eher auch nicht das Problem.
Ach ja, ich benutze die latest Beta des PMS unter QNAP.

Kann mir bitte jemand Rat geben?
Das ist für mich gerade ein größeres Problem.

Mache etwaige VPNs aus.

Benutze die TheTVDB ID im Eingabefeld für den Serientitel.

Als Workaround okay… auch wenn ich gerade eine Menge IDs nachschauen muss

Bisher hat die Tatort-Suche jede Woche tadellos funktioniert (deswegen hab ich sie als Beispiel gewählt).

Hast Du eine ID, ob sich das lösen lässt? Ich kann verstehen, dass Ihr ungerne die “alten” Metadaten-Agenten anfasst, aber es wär doch schön, wenn die noch ein Weilchen funktionieren. Oder ist das nur ein temporäres Problemchen bei TVDB?

Ist ja nicht so, dass die neuen Agenten alle Use Cases (auch nicht meine) abdecken.

P.S.: VPN musste nicht ausgeschaltet werden bei mir.

Wie gesagt, ich hab gar kein VPN, das ich ausmachenkönnte.
Nun hab ich wieder Probleme mit dem selben Agent…

Andere Serie… die wird auch erkannt, aber die vorhandenen Deutschen Folgenbeschreibungen und -titel werden nicht geladen.

Die Deutsche Beschreibung wird heruntergeladen…

… aber die Deutschen Episoden werden nicht mit Metadaten gefüllt, obwohl sie bei TVDB verfügbar sind:

Es gibt bei TVDB nur Spanisch und Deutsch… scheint mir das gerade verbreitete “Plex will englische Beschreibung”-Phänomen zu sein (siehe andere Threads von mir), oder?

Dein Trick mit der ID hat nicht geholfen.
Wie sorge ich dafür, dass Plex die Deutschen Beschreibungen “holt”?

Plex “müllt” mir gerade mal so richtig die Libraries zu mit nicht notwendigen Lücken, Englisch statt Deutsch, komischen Tomaten-Bewertungen, überschreibt die Metadaten von Recording-Libraries… ICH BITTE UM HILFE

Dabei benutze ich weder die neuen BETA-Agents für Filme noch für Serien. DAS wollte ich ja gerade vermeiden.

Aufnahmen sollte man in eine separate Mediathek schicken. Der Agent dieser Mediathek sollte auf “Personal Video” gesetzt sein.
Damit sollte das nicht mehr passieren.

Ich weiß nicht, was das heißt.

Der Agent für Filme ist aus dem Beta Stadium heraus und funktioniert besser als die alten Agenten.
Es ist auch eher unwahrscheinlich, dass die alten Agenten repariert werden. (Es sei denn, der Fehler ist trivial.)

Einfach mal ein paar Tage warten. Diese Folgen wurden ja erst vor ein paar Tagen ausgestrahlt. TheTVDB wird von Benutzern befüllt. Da kann man nicht erwarten, dass alle Daten sofort bei Ausstrahlung zur Verfügung stehen.

Eine separate Library (bzw. zwei, eine für Filme und eine für Serien) sind es jetzt schon. Von “Personal Video” war noch nirgendwo in den DVR-Threads die Rede.
Das hab ich eingestellt, aber eine Metadaten-Aktualisierung hat rein gar nichts verändert.

Wie kann ich checken, woher der PMS die Metadaten “genommen” hat?

Ich verstehe das sogar, ich würde dennoch um Fix bitten - erstens ist der Wechsel noch nicht lang hin, zweitens möchte ich hier niemandem zu nahe treten, aber für meinen Bedarf hat der neue Agent massive Schwächen, die die bessere Geschwindigkeit nicht ausgleicht. In verschiedenen Threads (automatische Untertitelsuche / Norwegische Datenlage / Notwendigkeit für schnelles Datenupdate / usw) wird momentan geraten, bei Schwierigkeiten den Legacy-Agent zu nutzen. Da wär doch schön und erstrebenswert, wenn er auch noch funktioniert.

Das verstehe ich nicht. Die Beschreibungen existieren bereits auf TVDB (und existierten bereits als ich die Serie bei mir anlegte). Ich benutze den Legacy-Agent. Da sollte es keine Verzögerung geben. Oder dreht Ihr die Datenquelle des Legacy-Agents jetzt auch auf Euern Datenpool?

Worauf soll ich genau warten?

Wenn “Personal VIdeo” eingestellt ist heißt das, dass Plex nicht nach Metadaten sucht. Von daher kann eine Suche auch keine Ergebnisse bringen.
Die einzigen Metadaten, die es in eine solche Mediathek schaffen, stammen entweder aus dem EPG oder wurden manuell eingegeben.

Das sieht man, indem man sich den Inhalt der Eigenschaft guid="... aus dem Plex XML info eines Eintrages anschaut.

Automatische Untertitelsuche: korrekt, ist ein Schwachpunkt
Norwegische Metadaten: betrifft dich nicht, es sei denn du kannst Norwegisch und willst norwegische Metadaten haben
Notwendigkeit für schnelles Datenupdate: ist mit dem neuen Agenten sogar besser als mit den alten

Vielleicht gab es sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt nur in spanisch?

Danke für die Erklärung. Das klingt einleuchtend. Ich hatte gedacht, dass wenn ich es auf “Personal Video” umstelle, und aktualisiere, dass dann die EPG-basierten Angaben zur Serie wieder erscheinen. Dem war nicht so.

Bzgl. des neuen Scanners weiß ich gar nicht, wo ich anfangen oder enden soll: nur bis zu zehn “Starring Roles”, keine Schnittstelle zu anderen Quellen… aber wie schon gesagt: die Diskussion mag ich an dieser Stelle nicht so gerne führen. Ich hab nämlich ein Problem und mir liegt sehr daran, das zu lösen - und ich bin Dir dankbar, dass Du Dich damit beschäftigst.

Ich hab also alle betroffenen Caches geleert und die Serie in einer anderen Library neu angelegt:

Die Serie wurde richtig erkannt als “Nevenka Fernández: Kein Schweigen mehr”.

Die Zusammenfassung zur Serie wurde aus TVDB entnommen (in korrekter Sprache: Deutsch).

Die Serien-ID bei TVDB ist “397506” und in der XML zu jeder Folge steht:

(natürlich mit den passenden Indices für Folge 1 bis 3)

Es wurde aber weder der deutsche (noch sonst irgendeiner) Episoden-Titel, noch eine Beschreibung noch sonstwelche Daten zu den Episoden geliefert.

Und weil das nicht bei allen Serien so ist, würde ich gerne die Quellangaben, die Euer Legacy-Agent bekommt checken (weiss aber nicht, wie man die abruft oder einsieht), um zu sehen, wo das Problem liegt, um ggf. ein Bugfix anzuregen (oder sogar so weit selbst durchzucoden).
Es gibt für mich zwei augenscheinliche Dinge, die Ursache für das Problem sein könnten:

Sonderzeichen im TVDB-Serientitel (da läutet bei mir ein kleines Glöckchen)
Englisch als Sprache für die Episoden nicht verfügbar, wohl aber auf Serienlevel.

Magst Du mir eventuell noch einmal helfen? Ich hoffe sehr, dass es sich so ganz gut eingrenzen lässt.
