Seems that when syncing metadata with TMDB I can obtain the Season Summaries (description of each season)
But when I try from TVDB (changing series ordering to TVDB(aired)) it doesnt sync it even though the season has a description in their db.
Is that something “expected” or only on my side?
Is there a possibility someone tries to sync those to know if the season summary appears for thetvdb?
For me it happens with all the tv shows I have when using TVDB.
Please let me know if I should provide more information or something else.
Plex uses a single consolidated metadata approach. Changing the episode ordering will have no effect on the metadata content itself, only the ordering of the episodes based on how they are named.
You cannot force plex to use metadata from one source (tvdb) over another (tmdb).
But if I am only changing the episode ordering… How is it possible that it removes that description? (the episodes keep a proper one)
I seem to remember that season summaries only work when tmdb ordering is used. However, I’m open to correction on that.
