As a daily user of the Live TV (both streaming and via HD Homerun OTA / DVR) feature, I would like to see a few changes to bring feature parity with the existing app and add a quality of life feature to ensure a best-in-class product, as listed below.
- Feature (See screenshot 1): I would like to have a combined favorites list on the Live TV tab for streaming and OTA / DVR channels. Combined, rather than split. Like in the current production app.
- Feature: I would like to have the combined favorites be available as the default page when selecting Live TV
- Feature: I would LOVE a way to navigate up and down the favorites (or currently selected) list (filter?, whatever) while viewing a channel by using the navigation buttons on the Apple TV remote. Basically, a channel up / channel down function. I don’t know how this would be implemented with the existing use of the navigation buttons, but it would be a major quality of life addition.
- Bug (See screenshot 2): Currently, when viewing a Live TV station (Streaming or OTA / DVR), the navigation buttons on the Apple TV remote do not move to the buttons below the progress bar
